Progress

Show shoppers their skin actually improving.

Compare any saved scan with an earlier one. Every concern and overall skin damage, before and after — so improvement is a number, not a feeling, and your products get the credit.

Why it matters

Proof the routine is working

Skincare takes weeks to show. Comparing two scans turns “I think it's better” into a number for each concern — and a reason to keep using, and reordering, the routine.

It runs on the analyses already in a shopper's history, so there's nothing to set up beyond turning history on.

  1. 01

    Same metrics, two dates

Each concern and overall skin damage, before and after, with the change.

  2. 02

    Honest by design

Changes too small to matter are marked stable rather than counted as progress.

  3. 03

    A summary they understand

Improved, worsened and stable counts, and where the biggest changes were.

Pick a scan

Compare with any earlier analysis

In a saved result, the Compare tab puts the current analysis next to an earlier one. A drop-down lists every earlier scan by date, and the headline shows the overall change.

  • Earlier and current photos side by side
  • Choose the earlier scan by date
  • Overall Improvement, Regression or No significant change
Skin metrics diff

Every metric, before and after

Each concern — plus overall skin damage — shows both values and the change, sorted by the biggest movement first and tagged Improved, Regressed or Stable.

  • Before → after values for each concern
  • Small changes inside a dead band count as Stable
  • Lighting and photo quality widen that band, so a darker selfie isn't read as worse skin
Summary

One sentence they can share

The summary counts what improved, worsened and stayed stable, then names the biggest movers — written for the shopper, not for a dermatologist.

  • Improved, worsened and stable counts
  • “The largest improvements were in …”
  • Clear messages when there's nothing comparable
Summary

Overall, skin metrics improved by 3.6% compared with the earlier scan.

6 improved0 worsened8 stable

The largest improvements were in Redness, Dark Circle, and Oiliness.

  • Improved The score went down beyond the dead band
  • Stable The change is too small to count
  • Regressed The score went up beyond the dead band
  • Insufficient data The metric is missing from one scan
Capabilities

How the comparison works

  • 14 metrics

13 concerns plus overall skin damage.

  • Dead band

Small differences are reported as stable, not progress.

  • Lighting-aware

Brightness and photo quality differences make it more conservative.

  • Direction that makes sense

Lower concern scores read as an improvement.

  • Shopper-friendly summary

Counts plus the concerns that moved most.

  • Any two scans

Pick the earlier scan from the shopper's history.

FAQ

Comparison, answered

Analysis history. Comparison uses the analyses saved in a shopper's history, so it appears as soon as they have more than one.

The 13 concerns — fine wrinkles, eye wrinkles, deep wrinkles, dark circles, eye bags, pores, pigment, redness, oiliness, dryness, sagginess, dullness and acne — plus overall skin damage.

Differences inside a small dead band are treated as noise. When the two photos differ in lighting or quality, the band widens and the scanner notes that small changes were ignored.

No. It compares the cosmetic skin analysis between two selfies to help shoppers follow their routine.
