Biometric Data Retention and Destruction Policy
Face Age provides AI skin and face analysis to businesses ("brands"). When a shopper uses the analysis on a brand's website, Face Age processes the shopper's photo and facial geometry on the brand's behalf. This policy sets out how long that data is kept and how it is destroyed.
Purpose. Facial images and geometry are used only to produce the analysis the brand requested. Face Age never sells, leases, trades, or otherwise profits from them, never uses them to train or improve its models, and never uses them to identify a person.
Retention schedule.

| Brand has enabled History | When the entry falls out of the 5 most recent analyses, when the shopper or brand asks for deletion, or when the brand's account ends or the app is uninstalled (within 30 days), whichever comes first |
| In all cases | No later than 3 years after the shopper's last interaction with the analysis |
Destruction. Data is deleted from Face Age's databases and file storage, and from Shopify metafields Face Age created. Backups containing it are overwritten within 30 days.
Disclosure. Face Age discloses facial data only to the brand the shopper used, to the sub-processors needed to run the analysis, or where required by law.
